The Faith Riders of Union Baptist Church in Griffin will be hosting their second annual charity bike run – Saturday May 18th starting at Griffith’s Drive-in in Griffin. Henry County Emergency Management Agency is hosting a Faith Based Disaster Network Conference. The conference will be held on May 18 from 8am to 3pm at Grace Summit Church in Stockbridge. The conference is 100% free of charge and lunch will be provided for registrants. The conference is a collaborative effort geared to encourage faith-based organization and their families to take simple steps to prepare for emergencies in their homes, businesses, schools, and churches.
