Pastor Robert Vines and the Ole Country Cruisers would like to invite you to The Ole Country Church at 2649 Hwy 155 North, in McDonough for their 5th Annual Car Show on May 27th.  There will have food, games, giveaways, Raffle Drawings,  Kids activities, Live music, Trophies and lots and lots of old Cars. Come out and join in the fun.  In case of rain the reschedule date will be June 3rd.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! On Saturday, June 10th from 8 AM until 11 AM — NewLife FM will partner with City of Griffin Water Department and City of Griffin Stormwater for a much needed clean-up of Heads Creek Reservoir on Cheatham Road. If you are interested in volunteering visit NewLife dot FM for more details! Interested volunteers need to register by June 3rd. Trash bags, work gloves, and water provided.

The Flippen United Methodist Church will host a Catfish Fry on Saturday, June 17th, 2017 from 11 AM to 4:30 PM. The meal will include catfish, hush puppies, French fries, cole slaw, drink and dessert. Tickets are $12. Bring a friend! For more information, please call (678) 432-1311.

Fresh Start Christian Church will host “Griffin Community Day” Saturday, May 20, 2017, 10am – 2pm on the church grounds.  The event is free to the community residents and we provide food, fun for all ages, games, prizes and music. More information at www.FreshStartCCGA.org

The third annual Perry Christian Music Festival is coming on Saturday May 20th from 11 am to 9 PM on 1600 Macon Road in Perry. Fun, food, and games with a classic car cruise and live music all day! For more information call 478-256-1096

The 40th annual Geranium Festival is coming back to the square in McDonough on Saturday May 20th from 9 am til 5 pm. Free event and Free parking with activities for the children and plenty of vendors. More information at www.NewLife.FM

The 16th Annual Taste of Fayette returns to Historic Downtown Fayetteville on Sunday, May 21, from noon to 4 p.m., and all are welcome to come out and participate as competing local restaurants are awarded “Finest Taste”, “Finest Treat”, and “Most Amazing Booth”. Taste of Fayette takes place at Stonewall Village across the street from the Old Fayette County Courthouse.  Admission is free, and guests use tokens, which are sold for 50 cents each, to purchase food and beverages from local eateries.

The I-58 Mission will host their first annual Golf Tournament on May 25th at the Whitewater Country Club in Fayetteville. Registration begins at 8 am with breakfast provided by Chick Fil A. More information at www.Thei58mission.org
