Fayetteville First Baptist Church is holding their 2nd Fayette Motor Madness Car Show on Saturday May 6th. This year’s theme is “Restored in Christ”.

They will be partnering with Samaritan’s Purse Operation Heal Our Patriots and for a $20 gift you will receive a 20 minute flight over Thomaston as a thank you gift for supporting our nation’s military heroes. Thomaston-Upson County Airport is located just off Hwy 36 in Thomaston

On Saturday, June 10th from 8 AM until 11 AM — NewLife FM will partner with City of Griffin Water Department and City of Griffin Stormwater for a much needed clean-up of Heads Creek Reservoir on Cheatham Road. The Pregnancy Care Center in Jonesboro, GA is looking for their next Director. Sheila Gose has served the Center for over thirty years as a volunteer and paid staff and then as Director. The Pregnancy Care Center helps women to make the choice of life for their baby. Someone applying for the Director position should have a heart felt desire to help women in a difficult time and be able to present the Gospel. The Center welcomes inquiries. Jodeco road United Methodist Church announces their annual community-wide Easter egg hunt April 15 at 3:00 PM. The church is located at 1500 Jodeco Rd Stockbridge. There will be activities, entertainment, refreshments, and maybe a special visit by the Easter bunny. The age groups will be babies through the fifth grade. Separate hunting areas and prizes will be by age group. For additional information call the church at (770) 957-8300

Saturday April 15th – Pinecrest Baptist Church will host a FREE Community Easter Egg Hunt for Children K4 through 5th grade.  The hunt begins at 11 am with hotdog lunch provided.  And then on Sunday April 16th there will be two special Easter services at 8:20 am and 10 am – featuring dynamic music from the choir and powerful preaching from Pastor John Anderson.
