The Peach State Post for September 21-24, 2015

The Pentecostal Ministerial Fellowship will be conducting a Revival at the Pirkle Campground located at 3990 Fayetteville Highway in Griffin on Sunday, September 27th at 6 P.M. and Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 7 P.M.  Bishop Daniel Hampton, Administrative Bishop of West Virginia, will be Ministering Sunday through Tuesday and Angela Letbetter and the Central Georgia Praise Team will be Guest Singers. Chris Munden, Director of Teen Challenge Prayer Mountain, will be sharing his Testimony of Deliverance on Wednesday in the Youth Service. Special Singers from Pike Assembly will lead in Praise and Worship. Everyone is invited to attend and encouraged to pray for a great outpouring of the Spirit of God in these last days.

His Wonderful Works is hosting a women’s Event at First Baptist Conyers, on Thursday Oct 1st  at 7:00 pm. Bethel Baptist Church of Milner will be holding their annual homecoming on Sunday, September 20th.  The day will begin with a singing at 9:30 AM featuring musical guest Line Creek.  The morning service will be at 11 AM with guest speaker Rev. Don McMurray. Dinner on the grounds will follow along with a car show in the church parking lot. All former members and friends are invited. MARK YOUR CALENDAR AND WASH THE DOG!!  Smyrna Presbyterian Church in Conyers will celebrate the lives of our beloved pets and farm animals with their first ever BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS.   The date is Sunday, September 27 at 11:00 am.  Worship in the Tabernacle will be followed by a blessing of each animal.  ALL PETS AND FARM CRITTERS ARE WELCOME.   Please use leashes for dogs, cows, sheep, goats, donkeys, and horses, and carriers for smaller animals such as cats, reptiles, hedgehogs, and chickens.   If you have questions, please call the church office at 770.483.8962.
