The staff and congregation of Griffin Center Point Church ask you to join in community wide efforts to collect goods for the Oklahoma tornado victims. Non perishable foods, toiletries, diapers, baby food, building supplies, etc can be dropped off at the Griffin Walmart from 8 AM through 8 PM until May 25th. Henry County Emergency Management Agency is hosting a Faith Based Disaster Network Conference. The conference will be held on May 18 from 8am to 3pm at Grace Summit Church in Stockbridge. The conference is 100% free of charge and lunch will be provided for registrants. The conference is a collaborative effort geared to encourage faith-based organization and their families to take simple steps to prepare for emergencies in their homes, businesses, schools, and churches.
