The Peach State Quartet will be singing at Henry Baptist Church located at 4035 Jodeco Road in McDonough, GA on Saturday night Sept 13 at 7:00 PM at their Homecoming banquet.

 

The 2014 Living Water Walk and 5k Run will be held Saturday, September 13th at Heritage Park in McDonough. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Griffiths’ Family Mission in Kenya.

Stone Mountain First Baptist Church will celebrate their 175th Anniversary on Saturday September 13, from 1 – 4 PM. Former Falcon’s player Greg Brezina invites interested individuals to attend a Christian Families today recovery program starting September 18th. CFT is a Biblically based addictions recovery program designed around the Association of Exchanged Life Ministries counseling model. The program is designed for 8-10 individuals who will gather for two hours each week for 15 weeks. The program incorporates attendance at a Grow in Grace Seminar and a daily devotional guide. Peachtree City United Methodist Church is launching its’ new Pastor’s Study, Sunday, September 7 from 5:30-7 p.m. at its’ Robinson Road campus. Senior Pastor, Dr. Steve Dodson, kicks off this adult program with a series titled, “Developing Christ-like Character.” Participants will take a five week (Sept. 7 – Oct. 5) journey through the scriptures learning what it means to reflect Christ in their life, with their family, at work, and in society.

Rev. Sean Robinson will continue this program from Oct. 19 – Nov. 16, in a series titled, “Pray-er.” In this series, participants will learn how to pray and how prayer can change your life.

NewWalk Christian Fellowship along with Caring Hearts Ministries is teaming up with local businesses to offer free school supplies to Spalding County Residents on Aug 3, 2014 at 11am. The even will be held at City Park, Pavilion 5 located at 100 Hill Street in downtown Griffin. Free food and drinks. Only while supplies last.

 

The Pregnancy Center of Jonesboro is hosting a baby bottle drive to benefit their center. Baby bottles are available for distribution at the center and individuals are asked to fill them with monetary donations and return them.
