Fall is a wonderful time to get plants in the ground in time to

establish a beautiful garden for Spring and Summer.   Beginning

Oct. 3, 2014, guests visiting Callaway Gardens this Fall will have

the opportunity to purchase plants such as assorted trees, shrubs,

and perennials. There also will be a limited assortment of garden

mums while they last.  The Fall Plant Sale will be within the gift

shop of the John A. Sibley Horticultural Center and is scheduled to

be open through Nov. 9, 2014, or while supplies last.

 

Proceeds from the Center’s sales support the non-profit Ida Cason Callaway Foundation, owner and operator of Callaway Gardens.

Griffin Choral Arts will present – The World Beloved – a concert of choral and bluegrass music celebrating the blessings of Creation. Known for it’s bold, inventive programming, Griffin Choral Arts will have as its invited guest Monroe Crossing. Peachtree City United Methodist Church is launching its’ new Pastor’s Study, Sunday, September 7 from 5:30-7 p.m. at its’ Robinson Road campus. Senior Pastor, Dr. Steve Dodson, kicks off this adult program with a series titled, “Developing Christ-like Character.” Participants will take a five week (Sept. 7 – Oct. 5) journey through the scriptures learning what it means to reflect Christ in their life, with their family, at work, and in society.

Rev. Sean Robinson will continue this program from Oct. 19 – Nov. 16, in a series titled, “Pray-er.” In this series, participants will learn how to pray and how prayer can change your life.
