Habitat for Humanity is holding it’s Youth Building project from 9 am to 3 pm at 11537 East Lovejoy road in Hampton. Youth Build gives kids hands-on training through landscaping work for newly constructed Habitat for Humanity homes.

Bring an unwrapped toy or cash donation to receive a FREE flight over Thomaston or a pancake breakfast during the morning hours. The Great Bowls of Fire chili cook-off is coming your way on Saturday October 29th from noon til 3 pm at the Kiwanis Fairgrounds Food Booth. Admission is $5 per person and gets you a taste of everyone’s chili. There will also be a pumpkin carving competition for the kids with a $25 entry fee. For more information call 770-229-6400.

The NewLife FM Bandwagon will be on hand for Union Baptist Church’s Fall Festival, Monday night  October 31st!  The church is located at 1405 N McDonough Road, Griffin.  The outdoor festivities start at 6:00 PM and there will be hot dogs, popcorn, cotton-candy and it’s all free!  There will be fun activities for youth and children and it will be great time for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
